Accessibility Statement
Last updated: April 13, 2026
Lamb and Flag TopCo Corp, doing business as AtlanticM&A ("we," "us," or "our"), is committed to ensuring that the AtlanticM&A platform is accessible to all users, including those with disabilities. We strive to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standard across all areas of our application.
Standard and Scope
This statement applies to the AtlanticM&A web application at atlanticma.ai, including all project management, reporting, and collaboration features. Our target conformance level is WCAG 2.1 Level AA, which is the internationally recognised standard for web accessibility and satisfies the requirements of:
- Section 508 of the U.S. Rehabilitation Act
- EN 301 549 (European Accessibility Standard)
- The European Accessibility Act (EAA), effective June 2025
- The UK Equality Act 2010
What We Have Done
We have implemented a comprehensive set of accessibility features across the platform:
Navigation and Structure
- Skip navigation: A "Skip to main content" link is provided as the first focusable element on every page, allowing keyboard users to bypass the sidebar navigation.
- Semantic landmarks: The application uses semantic HTML5 elements (
<main>,<nav>,<aside>,<header>) so screen readers can navigate by page region. - Heading hierarchy: All pages maintain a logical heading structure (h1 → h2 → h3) without skipping levels.
- Consistent navigation: Sidebar and top navigation maintain consistent order across all pages.
Keyboard Accessibility
- Full keyboard operation: All interactive elements (buttons, links, form controls, editable table cells, dropdowns) are operable using keyboard alone.
- Visible focus indicators: A visible focus ring is displayed on all interactive elements when navigated via keyboard.
- Logical focus order: Tab order follows the natural visual reading order of the page.
- Escape key support: All dialogs, modals, and fullscreen views can be dismissed with the Escape key.
Screen Reader Support
- Descriptive labels: All form controls have associated labels or aria-label attributes. All icon-only buttons have aria-label text describing their action.
- Table semantics: Data tables include scope attributes on headers and aria-label describing the table's purpose.
- Status announcements: Toast notifications use
aria-live="polite", error messages userole="alert", and loading states userole="status"to announce changes to screen reader users. - Decorative content: Decorative images and SVGs are hidden from screen readers with
aria-hidden="true"or empty alt text. Informational images have descriptive alt text. - Color-independent indicators: RAG (Red/Amber/Green) status indicators include text abbreviations alongside colour, ensuring they are perceivable without relying on colour alone.
Visual Accessibility
- Colour contrast: Text and interactive elements meet the WCAG 2.1 AA minimum contrast ratio of 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text.
- Dark mode: A full dark theme is available, toggled from the top navigation bar.
- Colourblind mode: An alternative colour palette (blue/orange/purple/teal/yellow) is available for users with red-green colour vision deficiency, toggled from the accessibility settings panel.
- Reduced motion: Animations and transitions are suppressed when the user's operating system has
prefers-reduced-motion: reduceenabled. - Fullscreen data views: Dense tables, matrices, and charts can be expanded to fullscreen using an EnlargeableBlock lightbox, improving readability without requiring horizontal scrolling.
Forms and Input
- Autocomplete hints: Authentication forms include autocomplete attributes to support password managers and assistive technologies.
- Error identification: Form errors are announced to screen readers and visually distinguished with sufficient contrast.
- Reduced manual input: AI-powered features automate repetitive data entry, formatting, and content generation, reducing the volume of keyboard and mouse interaction required.
Internationalisation
- Language declaration: The
langattribute on the HTML element is set dynamically based on the user's locale, ensuring screen readers use the correct pronunciation rules. - Right-to-left support: The
dirattribute is set tortlfor Arabic and other RTL locales.
Neurodivergent & Cognitive Accessibility
We recognise that accessibility extends beyond visual and motor needs. The platform includes features specifically designed to support neurodivergent users, including those with ADHD, autism, dyslexia, and other cognitive differences:
Focus Mode
A distraction-free mode that hides the sidebar navigation and top bar, leaving only the main content area visible. This reduces visual clutter and cognitive load, making it easier to concentrate on the task at hand. Focus Mode can be toggled from the top navigation bar or from the Accessibility settings panel.
Reading Preferences
Customisable text display settings allow users to adjust:
- Text size: Scale from 100% up to 200%
- Line spacing: From default (1.5) to extra spacious (2.5)
- Letter spacing: Adjustable from default to much wider
- Font: Option to switch to OpenDyslexic, a typeface designed to improve readability for users with dyslexia. The weighted bottoms and unique letter shapes help reduce letter confusion and improve reading speed.
Plain Language AI
When enabled, AI-generated reports, summaries, and suggestions use simpler vocabulary, shorter sentences, and clearer structure — targeting a Flesch-Kincaid reading grade of 8 or below. Technical jargon is replaced with plain alternatives, and complex information is broken into bullet points. This benefits neurodivergent users, non-native English speakers, and anyone who prefers straightforward communication.
Existing features that support cognitive accessibility
- Dark mode: Reduces visual fatigue and sensory overload from bright screens.
- Reduced motion: Animations are suppressed when the operating system has
prefers-reduced-motion: reduceenabled, reducing visual distraction. - AI automation:Automates repetitive data entry, formatting, and report writing — reducing the cognitive and motor demands of manual work.
- Fullscreen data views: Dense tables and charts can be expanded to fullscreen, reducing visual complexity and the need to scroll in multiple directions.
Conformance Status
Based on our internal assessment, the AtlanticM&A platform conforms to WCAG 2.1 Level AA with the following known limitations:
- Complex SVG charts: Gantt charts, timelines, and some data visualisations rendered as SVG provide limited detail to screen readers. These charts are supplemented by accessible data tables and summary statistics.
- Third-party embeds: Content rendered by third-party libraries (e.g., PDF viewers, rich text editors) may not fully conform. We apply accessibility attributes where the library API permits.
Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT)
An Accessibility Conformance Report based on the ITI VPAT 2.5 template is available on request for enterprise procurement. Please contact us at the address below.
Feedback and Contact
We welcome feedback on the accessibility of the AtlanticM&A platform. If you encounter an accessibility barrier, or have suggestions for improvement, please contact us:
- Email: accessibility@atlanticma.ai
- General support: support@atlanticma.ai
We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within 5 business days.
Continuous Improvement
Accessibility is an ongoing commitment, not a one-time effort. We regularly audit the platform against WCAG 2.1 AA criteria, incorporate accessibility into our development workflow, and address reported issues as a priority. Our goal is to ensure that every user, regardless of ability, can effectively use the AtlanticM&A platform to manage their post-merger integration or transformation programme.
